1/2 Onion, diced
3 TBSP Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tsp Onion & Garlic Powders
2 cups Milk
2 cups White Cheese, shredded
Frenches Fried Onion's 1 can
Melt the butter on low in a pan and add your diced onions, cook till they are clear in color. Add the flour, salt, onion, garlic powders, and pepper to the mix. Slowly pour in your milk and stir until it comes to a simmer. Add your cheese and blend till the sauce is smooth. Place the asparagus in a pan that has been greased with butter and pour the sauce over the asparagus. Place casserole into a pre-heated oven on 350 degrees and bake till the sauce is bubbly and top it with the fried onions and as a option you may toss about 1/2 cup cheese on top as well. Cook another 5 to 8 minutes uncovered. Serves between 6-8 servings. Bon'a Y'all.
