Nothing Better then Fresh Tomato Bacon Sandwiches For Summer

Hello to all my foodie friends its MadJon again coming out this summer with a easy tasty Tomato Sandwich.  As you know we do grow our own vegetables each summer here in South Carolina.  I made these sandwiches for lunch today and they were very tasty indeed.  there is nothing better then home grown fresh tomatoes to add to your summer pleasure for meal time.  This is also the time of year that we yturn our bounty into canned goods to serve year round.  They are so tasty.  Today I made fresh Me Me's Pasta Gravy but that was done at the grill.  Then I came home to make some sweet and sour pickles made with cloves and mustard seeds.  Onions and other spices.  Can't wait to dig into them.  We have also packed away some dill spears to eat, yum yum.  We also have a few Green Beans growing out there so I like canning the green beans but then you have to worry about shelf space for the year.  So this year I will freeze them.  My hubby's favorite vegetable is tomatoes and green beans.  I like them all.  I do use cinnamon  a lot when am canning pickles or jalapenos with onions and carrots,oh my.  Any who I don't know if you all garden out there in web land but if you do I think you should always add some good old Chicken poop to your dirt.  I always add Epson Salt and Lime.  We don't use sprays to get weeds gone we use straw that we spread and its great to help with weeds.  It also will help the dirt when we plow it under.  I don't buy seeds with GM-O's either.  I try to  stay as natural as possible kind of like me I go around with no make-up all the time.  Any who its getting late and I have to leave early tomorrow morning so am passing on this easy recipe for you to follow and its very tasty indeed.

2 toasted pieces of bread
Mayo to spread on your toasted bread
1 tomato sliced
Salt & pepper to taste
Cheddar Cheese to top the tomatoes
Cooked Bacon is optional
Pork-n-beans are also optional

Toast the bread.  Spread your mayo on the bread.  Layer the tomatoes and salt & pepper your tomatoes.
top with cheddar cheese and bacon.  Place under your boiler until the cheese is nice and melted.  Serve hot. If you adding the beans place them on the bread first then add the tomatoes.  Bon'a Y'all.
